Going to Japan!

Hello everybody!

Well, we hope the news has gotten out to most of you already. Yes, Derrick and I are moving to Japan! We are extremely excited and a little nervous. We will be flying out of St. Louis Missouri on April 10th and will move into our new appartment in Mito, which is about two hours north of Tokyo.
For anyone who is in the Oklahoma City area, we will be having a Going Away party on Monday, March the 24th (the Monday after Easter) in Edmond. It will be a come-and-go party from 4pm to 8pm. If you want more information, or cannot come between those times but still want to try to see us before we leave Oklahoma on Wednesday the 26th, you can email us at my new emailaddress: mirandalogwood@gmail.com .

To end this note, I ask you all to please pray for us as we're preparing during these last few weeks before our move to this completely new and exciting culture.

The beginning of "The Logwoods"

Miranda and Derrick, Derrick and Miranda, however you want to say it, we are The Logwoods. The day we became one was a glorious day. God was with us that day, as He is everyday. We were joined together in the eyes of God, our family and our friends by Clay Hart, who did a wonderful impersonation of the priest on The Princess Bride. Here is one wedding picture.
